Savannah Just Being Savannah

Savannah getting into everything. She is so activate, but I wouldn't have it any other way

Happy in Her Swing

This is the swing that Grandma and Grandpa Smith bought Savannah for her birthday...She loves it and so do I...When she is being fussy, I just put her in her swing and she is a happy baby.
She just chills...She can last up to an hour in her swing, just enjoying the ride.

Savannah's 1 Year Check Up

Savvy had her 1 year check up the day after her birthday...She is kind of small, I think, for her age. Or it might just be that I am surrounded by bigger babies.

Height 28.75
Weight 21 lb 1.4oz
HC 17.99"

But she is a healthy and very activate baby.

Sorry It's Been So Long

I know it's been a while since my last post (October 29th). I just have been so busy. I started working for the Gas Co as a representative towards the end of January. So it makes it really hard to come home and get on the computer, because I rather come home and spend time with my baby. I am going to try to remember everything that has happened since November.

November 2010
Thanksgiving came and went. Nothing exciting there.

December 2010
Savannah's 1st Christmas. We celebrated Christmas Eve with my family at our house. And Christmas Day we had breakfast and opened gifts at the Smith's home. We went to see Christmas light in Upland, we are trying to make it a tradition. We also took our family pictures for Christmas.

We did take Savannah but she slept in her stroller thru the whole thing. Just like she did for the pumpkin path. Hopefully this year she will stay awake

CHRISTMAS EVE FEAST
Savannah opening her 1st gift ever. She was more amazed by the paper than her gift. Of course, they always are.

I made this star with pictures of all the grandkids.

January 2011
I started working for Southern California Gas Co.

February 2011
I had planned to do something special for Valentine. I wanted to do make diner and desert all red, for example, spaghetti and red velvet cake. But I got home to late from work and I was too tired.

March 2011

I turned 28 years old. We didn't do much on my birthday, but the Sunday before we celebrated with my family at my sister's new house.

April 2011
Savannah turned 1. I couldn't believe how fast it came. We had a little party for her. It was a ladybug theme. And the day after her party (April 17) she took a some steps. As of today she is still taking steps, but after 4 or 5 she falls on her butt. The other day she was walking towards the entertainment center and fell forward, hit her head on one of the drawers. But she didn't cry.

I decorated her cake.

I decorated the tables with a red cloth and made black circles so it can look like a ladybug.

Savannah's first taste of sweet.
I don't like giving her sweets at all, I don't see the point in it. At this age she doesn't know the difference, so why offer.
